Gallura, Today as Yesterday
Once upon a time there was an incredibly beautiful land but so inaccessible as to be scantily populated.
This land has hardly changed. The territory of Santa Teresa Gallura has remained unspoilt for thousands of years, preserving the gifts bestowed by generous Nature: 71 km of wild coastline stretch between the Capo Testa headland to the west and Capo Ferro to the east, the pride of Sardinia and the whole Mediterranean for its unique environment and enchanting views. A deeply captivating land, modelled and caressed by sun, wind and the mistral breeze.

Glittering Beaches
Santa Teresa, the northernmost town in Sardinia, is flanked by several glittering sandy beaches, such as Rena Bianca, La Marmorata and Santa Reparata. In the charming bays and coves with crystal clear water we feel at one with Nature, as we lie caressed by the sun, lulled by the mistral wind and the plashing of the waves.
Or consider the amazing sight of fretted rocks, the Tafoni, and erratic boulders, which conjure up before our eyes a Prospero's play of light and shadow, changing shapes and sizes, in places of rare beauty such as Capo Testa, Cala Spinosa or the Valle della Luna.

A Lookout over the Straits of Bonifacio
The town of Santa Teresa Gallura lies on the northernmost tip of Sardinia, looking out over the Straits of Bonifacio. On clear summer days, from vantage points such as the top of the Spanish tower of Longosardo, we have a spectacular view out to Corsica and the islands of the La Maddalena Park, both within easy reach by ferry from the Santa Teresa Gallura port.

The Consortium's Brand of Hospitality
The Santa Teresa Gallura Tour Operator Consortium includes a large number of hotels and other tourist enterprises both in town and in the charming surrounds, all offering guests a full range of services to make their holiday truly unforgettable. Excellent hotels, efficient travel agencies, tourist information offices, bars, night clubs, shops and boutiques, famous restaurants tempting their clientele with tantalising local dishes such as the delicious "suppa cuata", sweet tasting Gallura ravioli, and lobster "Santa Teresa style".
